         These are photos of spiders found locally by WVAS member Joe Dickson. Try identifying them!

Answers:

A. yellow sack spider (poisonous)
B. funnel weaver grass spider
C. hunter spider (Drasodies neglectus)
D. short-bodied cellar spider (most widespread of all spiders)
E. American house spider and young (most common of all U.S. spiders; it produces 300 young per egg case and up to 9 egg cases per year)
